In my blog today I thought I would allow you all a glance into what a rundown looks like for the radio talk show SportsWrapp at my school Appalachian State and how I keep track of what to say about specific topics

Block 1: App Football App loses to Wake forest Initial thoughts? Any Rants? Taylor Lamb played well, Defense played outstanding to keep us in the game, Lamb was 26/50 372 yards and 2 TD (he needs 3 to break Edwards record for most touchdowns)
Is it on the kicker or the line? Or another party? I blame Rubino, he doesnt have the clutch gene in him he has missed kicks in big situations the last 2 years that would have won app the game both have been extra points. Last year aginst Tennessee and now against wake forest. Although I wll say to me it seemed like wake had some players on the feild during the kick but thats just me i dont know if anyone else noticed that here.
They came out and threw the ball, Lamb and Hennigan looked good, defense solid. Looking ahead, do we still think they win the SunBelt? Or will it be a letdown? If we play like this against the entire sunbelt then we wont lose a game and we can end the season at 10-2 then a bowl game. I don't see any real team that should worry us but after Texas state and now wake I think its possible to slip up and lose a game potentially but on paper we have the best team overall in the sunbelt.
Block 2: Panthers and NFL games Panthers lose big time to Saints 34-13 Benjamin goes down with injury, McCaffrey OVERUSED, and Newton=NotElite Newton was 17/26 passing for 167 yards and 3 interceptions. 9 of the 17 completions were to Christian McCaffery for 101 yards. Next closet was Devin Funchess who had 58 yards. What happened this weekend??? Jags crush ravens 44-7. Ravens on offense only had 186 yards. the Jaguars had 410. Joe Flacco was 8/18 for 28 yards and 2 interceptions (if that doesn't prove Flacco isn't elite IDK what does) Jacksonville absolutely dominated this game.
Bears defeat Pittsburgh 23-17, This was a very seesaw game the bears took a 17-7 lead into half, the Steelers pitch a shutout in the 2nd half to tie the game 17-17 and then Jordan Howard wins it in overtime. Jordan Howard had a day 23 carries for 138 yards. Glennon once against slacked in the passing game 15 completions for 101 yards but Howard carried the load and ultimately won the game. Buffalo defeated Broncos 26-16,
backup QB Vikings defeated Bucs 34-17, As a Vikings Fan I love it! If you told me after last week that case Kennum was going to go 25/33 for 369 yards and 3TDs after his performance last week i would have thought you were crazy. Stephon Diggs had 2 beautiful TD catches and 176-8 yards. Dalvin cook first career TD Tennessee defeated Seattle 33-17
BIGGEST UPSET?
Real games! Aaron Rodgers is a legend!! Pack defeat Bengals 27-24 Eagles vs Giants. 27-24 61 yard field goal!!! Atlanta defeats lions 30-26 are the Lions still for real? Honorable Mentions: Jets defeat Miami 20-6 and Colts beat the Browns 31-28 Block 3: NBA, Baseball, and Politics Carmelo to OKC, does this actually make them good? I don't think it makes them on the same level as Golden state, San Antonio, Cleveland, or Boston but they may be able to compete with Houston for the 3rd seed in the west. Dwayne wade back on the market/ where will he go or should go? He signed with the Cavaliers today which was the team I thought he should go to. He gets one last shot to win a title plus he gets to play with is best friend LeBron James.\

Diamondback earn wild card spot, Red sox and Yankees still battling. Redsox lead by 4 games with 7 lefts and have a magic number of 3 which means any combination of wins and Yankees losses that equals 3 and the Redsox win the division. Cubs, twins, and Rockies are still trying to get in/ Brewers and Cardinals trying to catch Rockies
