About Christian

I am a graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Electronic Media and Broadcasting.

I grew up with a love of sports from a young age they soon became a passion. During my time at Appalachian State University I became involved with the campus radio station 90.5 WASU-FM The App. While with WASU I was able to turn my love of sports into a career path. I had the opportunity to broadcast many sporting events on both radio and television including Football and Mens and Womens Basketball on the radio side, while also doing Baseball, Softball, and both Mens and Womens Soccer for Appvision, the App State sports streaming site. I did Play-by-Play, Color Commentary, and Sideline Reporting for many of the sports above.

When I wasn't participating on the broadcasts for sports I was hosting SportsWrAPP a biweekly sports talk show on the WASU airwaves. I also was a sports intern for 3 years where I would help the Sports Director and Assistant Sports Director with assignments that they needed such as producing commercials and ideas for the show. I also did a weekly sports break where I would either recap a sporting event or story from the previous day or I would preview a game or break news in the sporting world from that day.

I have experience working with Adobe Audition and Premiere for editing both audio and video. I am hungry and eager to learn all I can about not only the world of sports but broadcasting as well.
